Abid Alam
Mr. Abid Alam is the Group Managing Director of Alam Group of Companies which has been a family company for generations.
Alam Group of Companies has Five subsidiary companies which are Oxygas Limited, Kaliro Sugar, Kassanda Sugar, Casements Limited, and Rhino Footwear Limited.
Oxygas is the leading supplier of all types of gases in Uganda like Medical Oxygen, LPG, Acetylene, Argon, Carbon-dioxide, and more.
Casements Limited is an aluminum, glass, and steel fabricator. Mainly fabricating doors, windows, and gates.
Kaliro Sugar and Kassanda Sugar both manufacture Cane Sugar in Uganda for Human Consumption.
Rhino Footwear Limited manufactures Gumboots and Casual shoes for both men and women.
Therefore, Abid Alam has greatly contributed to the economy of Uganda.
About
My Story
Firstly, I was born in 1960 and raised in Uganda, the Pearl of Africa. Then I attended Shimoni Demonstration and Nakasero Primary school. Thirdly, I went to Nairobi for my Secondary and completed my college in the United States. When I returned from the United States, I set up a construction company in Soroti district instead of joining the family businesses. Five years later, I became the Managing Director of Alam Group where I currently hold the Group Managing Director Position.
Text A is not a terrible paragraph. However, the differences are clear as day. Text B does a better job of showing there are three separate arguments to support the statement with a definite conclusion. The reader never has to wonder whether a sentence still belongs to the previous argument or a new one. Moreover, it even shows the relationship between sentences within one argument. Therefore, people are going to find it easier to read this text and will stay on the page longer. And this is just one short, conveniently arranged paragraph!

Firstly, the only way to truly learn a skill is by actually doing what you’ll have to do in the real world. Secondly, I think practice can be a fun way of putting in the necessary hours. There are, however, some people who will disagree. Thirdly, and most importantly, it is said that people tend to remember only 10-20% of what they read or hear. Moreover, that number rises to as much as 90% when you put theory to practice. In conclusion, following up explanation with practice is key to mastering a skill.
KALIRO SUGAR
Sugar & Allied Industries Limited, a subsidiary of Alam Group, started in 2011. Its purpose was to meet the regional deficit and give Uganda 100% sugar self-sufficiency. Research proves that Kaliro district is strategically placed near Lake Kyoga and Lake Victoria. Kaliro has the best climate for growing premium sugar cane that would make delicious sugar.

We came into existence in mid-1995 and have become the leading distributors in the Ugandan Gas Industry. Oxygas Ltd is an ISO 9001: 2008 certified company with a 200m3/hr Gas Plant.
